Watch This!

This is going back a bit in time, but last Friday the 3rd, Alex and I took Lucia to the Bridlemile School Park near our house. We tried to go early (left the house at 8:30?) to beat the heat.

Just last Sunday the 28th of June, Lucia started to walk over a bar that is meant for stepping to get to the monkey bars. The first time she did this, she said to me "Watch This!!!" It was the first time she verbally asked me to acknowledge her, and I thought it was so cute! I didn't have a camera that day, but we captured the effect on Friday. Also, since Alex was able to come with us, we have some other good shots to share (disclaimer: Taken with Alex's iPhone, so resolution may be fuzzy).

Lucia is a serious runner (around the tennis court net this time - she kept wanting Mama to chase her, but Dada had to sit down on the bench. :-) Why couldn't we get that the other way around??):
