Lucia learned to spell her name on Thursday thanks to Ama and Apa's teaching. We have been taking videos of her and watching these wonderful "Lucia Movies." Lucia is mesmerized by watching herself on the big screen. Who knows? Maybe we have an actress on our hands, following in Uncle David's footsteps. :-)

July 1, 2009 - Lucia was spelling her name all day, but got a little camera shy. Still, we have it in whisper. Note: her 21 month birthday is July 7.


July 2, 2009 - This time Lucia is spelling in full tone. She says it in a singsong voice, demonstrating her love of singing!


The other thing Lucia did new last weekend on Sunday was at the park to play the "Watch This" game! She was walking over the short bars and also swinging on them at her waist. We just got back from a nice long walk including a 1.5 hour park stint. Alex took some photos on his iPhone, so I will publish a blog with that outing later.
