Magdalena's One Year Surgery Anniversary

Magdalena's Right Coronal Craniosynostosis surgery was exactly a year ago today: June 29, 2010. She is doing so awesome, I just have to say thank GOD for those surgeons and the medical expertise of our day and age.

Here is a visual reminder of what happened to her in surgery.

CT scan of Magdalena's skull at 3 months - shows how the right front two plates are fused together, thus requiring her surgery:

Here she is the morning of the surgery - looking bright and sunny despite not having eaten since 11 pm the night before!

Here is her head right after surgery - this is before all the swelling:

I think this is the worst she looked, 3 days after surgery - the most puffy and with two black eyes :-(
