Lucia and Magdalena love to play ball with Daddy. This seems to be Magdalena's invention, though. Lucia liked playing with balls and playing catch with Apa at around 2 years old. She was able to kick a soccer ball at 21 months. But Magdalena has a real fascination with balls. She will whine "Baaaaaalllll!!!!" when she sees a ball out of her reach - stretching her arms towards it, and leaning way out of your grasp if you happen to be holding her.
Playing catch is one of Magdalena's favorite games. It's really more like Fetch for her, but she does manage to catch it sometimes. She will say "Catch the ball!" to you over and over again until you acquiesce and turn your attention to her to indulge in a few rounds of give and go.
