One of my oldest friends from grade school and high school, Jaci Knittel, nee Berntzen, was in Eugene last week. We managed to get to the Eugene mall's indoor play area with our kids as the thermometer topped 100 F that day! It was great to see Jaci with her family of three kids - Mackenzie will be 5 soon, Giselle just turned 3, and Jackson turned 8 weeks the day we saw them! She says they are DONE. :-)
It was kind of hard to get the kids in shots as they kept running around - small wonder as they had all been cooped up indoors given the heat - but I managed to get a few photos.
Here you see Mackenzie on the ground in the lower left, and Lucia coming down the slide:

Thanks for coming out guys! So nice to see you!
Wish I could've been there!! Glad you two got to meet up :)
ReplyDeleteIt was so great to catch up with you and see the girls! Please keep Mackenzie in your prayers right now. Last night, my mother-in-law was watching the kids for us while we went on a date night, and Kennie fell off one of our barstools and hit her head on our ceramic tile kitchen floor. She fractured her skull and is now recovering at Children's Hospital in Oakland. Very scary, but she's a tough little girl and I'm hopeful she'll be home very soon.
