Last weekend we had a great time with our good friends the Cornetts at a house in Manzanita, OR. Lucia (who now says things like "I'm running VERY fast" and "I'm going downstairs to put on my shoes") played with Jude with cards and poker chips, books, teddy bears, and sliding down the three carpeted steps to the baby gate (that lead to a longer stairwell). Magdalena was great with tummy time and back time on her blanket, and we only had to resort to the bjorn a few times to keep her satisfied. We played at the beach and at the park, and the Mamas and Papas enjoyed the end of our Sober January (a few days grace) with some beer, wine, and spirits in the evenings after the kiddos went to bed.
It was a great weekend! Thanks Cornetts for finding the house and sharing time with us.
