Our family attended our first (and probably last) Traditional Chinese Wedding yesterday. Maria and Preston are friends of ours - both are actually American, though she is of Vietnamese heritage and he is of Chinese heritage. They own and operate an English learning school, as well as do corporate cultural training and translation assistance. We have become good friends with these guys and will really miss them!
There was a lot to this wedding, but I just wanted to post quickly a few photos of us in our traditional Chinese costumes - qipao (chee-pao) for women and changpao for men. We had a great time! More to follow.
