The Model Home of the Sunshine Mediterranean Sea complex where we live
We are coming home for several weeks on Sunday (for my brother's wedding and Magdalena's surgery and recovery), so this past weekend I took lots of photos around our complex here in China, and at the seaside so we could show people more about where we live. The weather turned absolutely GORGEOUS in Dalian and surroundings in the month of May, and things are finally starting to really heat up now that it is June. Since it is around 80 degrees by the afternoons here now, and that is my usual workout time on Mon/Wed/Fri (when the ayi comes), I am excited to get back to Portland soon where the weather should be cooler, and I will have help for morning workouts.
Anyway - enough about me, more about our place. The Sunshine Mediterranean folks installed a kids playground about a month ago, and this is one of Lucia's favorite places to play:

They have stocked the ponds behind our house with goldfish, and walking through the pond area to see them is another favorite play spot for Lucia:
