A Jones Family Christmas and Baptism

We have had a very busy past few days. Alex's family came to stay with us to celebrate Christmas, and my parents and brother and his fiance were here on Christmas day and the day after as well. We celebrated Magdalena's Baptism on Saturday at the 5 pm Vigil Feast of the Holy Family. This was very appropriate and was even more special to us as Lucia was also Baptized on the Feast of the Holy Family.

Here are some photos to chronicle our weekend:

Although Lucia got the lion's share of the presents this year, Magdalena made out with some great gifts, including this New York onesie from Godfather David. She'll have to wait a few months to fill it out, though!

Not to be outdone by the Michigan Cheerleader outfit, Apa bought Lucia her very own Oregon Ducks Cheerleader outfit! Needless to say, she'll be wearing it when the Ducks play in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day!

Some select Lucia gifts. She loved the soccer ball, baby dolls, and Etch-A-Sketch the most, it seems:

Kyle's birthday coincides with that of JC. My mom made little cut-out cookies with her name on them for us to eat for dessert:

It was so nice to have our dear friends, the Cornetts, celebrate with us for the Baptism. And Jude took a strong liking to Jordan...
