Santa's Ark

Last night I was reading our Children's Bible complete with color pictures to Magdalena before bed.  We read the story of Noah and the Ark, and the picture for Noah showed him in a red robe with a white beard.  Though she repeated that this person was Noah back to me when prompted, as we moved on to the next page showing a smaller Noah further away, Magdalena was quick to point him out and proclaim that it was "Santa Claus."  I guess Santa needed to be saved in the flood too!

Another good one with Lucia - we are always reminding her not to chew with her mouth open and to not talk with her mouth full.  A few nights ago, she admonished Daddy to not "talk with your mouth open!"  We had a good laugh over that one!

And in other news, a few milestones today - JP slept THROUGH THE NIGHT completely last night for the first time!  He went down at 8 pm, woke for a feeding at 9:30 pm, then not again until - gasp! - 6:51 am!  I hope this will be repeated tonight and every night thereafter!

The next milestone is that Magdalena went to school with no diaper today, just big girl panties, and FINALLY peed on the potty at school!  She was very proud of herself for using the "Bob the Builder" potty (the insert they have there), and got an MnM in the car for her achievement.
