I am so copying this idea.
Last weekend, Lucia was invited to a 4-year old's Princess Birthday Party. My friend (coincidentally also named Andrea) had this INSPIRED idea - all the guests came in a princess dress for a "Tea Party." She had gone ALL OUT. She brought in "real teenagers!" to do hair, makeup, and nails. She had a tea-set photo pose scene, finger sandwiches, fruit sticks, real tea in teacups, "Pin the Lips on the Frog", make your own bead bracelets, and she even busted out the Disney Princess en miniature to decorate the princess cake.
Lucia was in HEAVEN - not only for all the princess stuff, but also because the Bell family has a Ball Pit. It is so big, you almost need a life jacket.
Thanks so much, Princess Mikayla, for inviting us to your Royal Tea Party Birthday! And Andrea, I can almost guarantee that I'm copying your idea for Lucia's 4th birthday next fall. You guys are more than welcome to join if you want to use Portland as a location for one of your home leaves!!!!
