Selling the Condo

After 8 years of ownership, the last 5 in rentalship (is that a word?), Alex and I have decided to sell our condo in downtown SW Portland.

We have had 4 sets of renters total, and until the last set, they were all pretty good. This last time, though, one of our two renters unfortunately did not jive with the other owners who live in the complex (night shift and outside talking/smoking in the middle of the night was understandably not their thing). And with our planned move to China next year (April 1 - hope they're not fooling!) - we decided that after the last renters moved out at end July, we would put the condo on the market.

Obviously this is not the best TIME to be selling any property, and apparently there are way too many condos in particular on the scene. So we have done everything we can to get the place ready - it really does look great - and are praying for the best. We will re-evaluate in a few months to see whether going back to renting is the best plan for us.
