Magdalena put her hand to my cheek the other day and told me that my face was "lovely."
Victoria picked up a block and brought it to me a few days ago when I asked her to go get the block!
Lucia read the story "An Egg is an Egg" and has been all over it - "A tree is a tree until it is cut down. Then it becomes a house!"
JP turned three on December 1 - we had a small birthday party for him (his first official party). He was very excited to have BOYS here. He is very into gender equality. When we listen to songs in the car, he insists on getting his fair share of "boy songs" (meaning sung by a male). Though tonight he was very upset that the girls wanted to watch Irish Dancing instead of Barbie and the Dreamhouse, which is what he wanted. (I will admit that Barbie and the Dreamhouse makes me laugh out loud - it is hilarious!) Oh, and did I mention that JP really loves wearing shorts and T-shirts? So much so that he MUST wear shorts under his pants on school days, and a T-shirt under his Superman jacket (which is just a cloth lightweight jacket, so on really cold days he has to wear two jackets). And he is fully potty trained (as of October, even at night!). He really likes his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle underpants from Santa, though he has one pair of white briefs, which he persists in calling his "tightie whities" thanks to Daddy telling him that name... ha! He is just such a fun and funny boy, we are so blessed.

| Love the muscleman shirt |
| JP adores our neighbor boy, and was THRILLED to get his old Buzz Lightyear as a birthday gift. I was super touched, that was really sweet. |
And visited Santa. Twice.

And the girls gave Victoria a bath.

What fun pics and such a great one with Santa. Lovin' JP's style. Funny - Elise gets really upset too in the car if a song comes on the radio that is sung by a boy.
ReplyDeleteI love JP's personality!!! Such a funny kid. You guys all look great. Miss you! Love, Gretchen
